Dr. Alisa Johnson, Research Assistant Professor

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Alisa Johnson will be joining the PAIN Lab as a Research Assistant Professor. She will be examining the biopsychosocial mechanisms underlying chronic musculoskeletal pain, and complementary and integrative pain management strategies in older adults.

Dr. Johnson received her Ph.D. from Baylor University in 2018, Department of Psychology and Neuroscience. Her long-term goals are to continue to investigate pain phenotypes for targeted treatment development.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Johnson outside hiking, biking, or playing in the park with her daughter and husband.
